Calligraphy

Studied calligraphy since the age of 10, and though rarely done "by hand" these days, it influences my typography skills and custom letterforms.

Illustrations

"By hand" or computer-aided, sometimes a combination of both. I create the illustrations, icon systems, assembly diagrams, and information graphics for most of my projects. In fact, I have personally done ALL BUT 3 of the illustrations in the projects presented.
